Description

Exothermic Weld Powder manufactured by SG Power Products Pvt. Ltd. is a specially formulated welding compound used for creating permanent, high-conductivity electrical connections in earthing and lightning protection systems. The exothermic welding process produces a molecular bond between conductors, ensuring a durable and maintenance-free connection.

The weld powder consists of a fine granulized mixture that generates intense heat through a controlled exothermic reaction. This process melts and fuses copper conductors together, creating a connection with excellent electrical conductivity and superior mechanical strength compared to conventional bolted or crimped joints.

Exothermic welded joints are highly resistant to corrosion, oxidation, vibration, and thermal cycling, making them ideal for critical grounding applications. The resulting connection maintains its integrity throughout the service life of the installation and does not loosen over time.
